Ezechiel 18:17

SVZijn hand van den ellendige afhoudt, geen woeker noch overwinst neemt, Mijn rechten doet, [en] in Mijn inzettingen wandelt; die zal niet sterven om de ongerechtigheid zijns vaders; hij zal gewisselijk leven.
WLCמֵעָנִ֞י הֵשִׁ֣יב יָדֹ֗ו נֶ֤שֶׁךְ וְתַרְבִּית֙ לֹ֣א לָקָ֔ח מִשְׁפָּטַ֣י עָשָׂ֔ה בְּחֻקֹּותַ֖י הָלָ֑ךְ ה֗וּא לֹ֥א יָמ֛וּת בַּעֲוֹ֥ן אָבִ֖יו חָיֹ֥ה יִחְיֶֽה׃

mē‘ānî hēšîḇ yāḏwō nešeḵə wəṯarəbîṯ lō’ lāqāḥ mišəpāṭay ‘āśâ bəḥuqqwōṯay hālāḵə hû’ lō’ yāmûṯ ba‘ăwōn ’āḇîw ḥāyōh yiḥəyeh:


ACיז מעני השיב ידו נשך ותרבית לא לקח--משפטי עשה בחקותי הלך  הוא לא ימות בעון אביו--חיה יחיה
ASVthat hath withdrawn his hand from the poor, that hath not received interest nor increase, hath executed mine ordinances, hath walked in my statutes; he shall not die for the iniquity of his father, he shall surely live.
BEWho has kept his hand from evil-doing and has not taken interest or great profits, who has done my orders and been guided by my rules: he will certainly not be put to death for the evil-doing of his father; life will certainly be his.
Darbyhe hath withdrawn his hand from the poor, hath not received usury nor increase, hath executed my judgments, [and] walked in my statutes: he shall not die for the iniquity of his father, he shall certainly live.
